CeBIT is the world's largest trade fair showcasing digital IT and telecommunications solutions for home and work environments. It takes place each year in Hannover, Germany. In 2009 edition 4.300 companies and more than 400.000 visitors from 150 different countries participated in this fair.
The Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade, through the State Secretariate Of Telecommunications and Information Society with the collaboration of de Spanish Institute of Foreign Trade (ICEX), is the responsible for the participation of Spain as a partner country in CeBIT 2010.
The Partner Country of each CeBIT edition has a main paper. It has national pavilions, an important amount of enterprises and relevant conferences. By the moment, CeBIT organization has selected India (2006), Russia (2007), France (2008) and the State of California (2009) as Partner Countries.
