BARCELONA WELLCOMES THE SECOND APTE GENERAL MEETING IN 2010.

- APTE elects a new Executive Board of 12 members

- APTE reaches 81 Full and Affiliated members

 

The last 18th of June the second APTE General Meeting of this year, organized by the Park 22@Barcelona, was held in Barcelona. During the meeting, besides choosing the new Executive Board of the Association, the Parque Tecnológico Fuente Álamo was approved as new Full member and Consorci Biopol’H was accepted as new Affiliated member.

 

The new Executive Board now is:

Francisco Berjón: First Vicepresident

Francisco Martos: Secretary

Francisco Mora: Treasurer

Ángeles Gil: Vice-president

Itziar Martín: Vice-president

Francisco Negre: Vice-president

Josep M. Piqué: Vice-president

José Luís VIrumbrales: President Committee of Technology Transfer

Blas Calzada: President Committee of Financing

Joan Bellavista: Presidente Committee for Internationalization

Txaber Ouro: Presidente Committee of Governance

 

APTE is up to 81 Full and Affiliated members

 

Located in the Southeast of Murcia, the Parque Tecnológico Fuente Álamo has an extension of 40Ha distributed in four areas, from which the first area is already working. Until now there are 17 companies installed in the Park, some of them with international recognition. The main technology sectors they work are the aerospace sector and the security and maintenance military sector.

 

The Consorci Biopol’H is a biocluster promoted by the Generalitat de Cataluña and it’s located in Hospitalet de Llobregat. In this cluster different entities around science, education and business of the region of Cataluña take part. This project wants to become a new platform of research in two main areas: biomedicine and healthcare. Its main purpose is to contribute to the biomedical innovation and the clinic management.

 

With the incorporation of Parque Tecnológico Fuente Álamo as a Full member and the new Affiliated member, Biopol’H, APTE increases the number of members reaching 81, from which 46 are Full members and 35 are Affiliated.
