From June 15 to 17, Bilbao will host Food 4 Future – ExpoFoodTech, a congress that will bring together the most innovative business experiences, the latest scientific advances and trends in the development of food and beverage products that will transform the sector in the coming years.<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The Association of Science and Technology Parks of Spain (APTE) participates as a partner in this meeting, so all companies of science and technology parks members of APTE interested in attending can benefit from a 50% discount by applying the code that accompanies the image.<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

This event, organized by the company Nebext and the AZTI technology center, has the support of the Basque Government and the Bilbao City Council, the main food and beverage associations and companies, as well as the innovative entrepreneurial fabric of EIT Food to turn Bilbao into the Capital of Foodtech Innovation.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Food 4 Future – ExpoFoodTech 2021 will take place at the Bilbao Exhibition Centre (BEC) <\/strong>and will <\/span><\/span>will bring together professionals from the entire value chain to show how technology and science are generating the necessary revolution in the food industry. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

280 international experts will represent an industry that contributes 11% of the world’s GDP<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The food industry accounts for 11% of global GDP and expects a growth in demand for food products of up to 70% by 2050. In addition, the digitization of this industry could have an impact of more than 300 billion euros between 2021 and 2025. These figures show the relevance of the industry and the importance of promoting its digitization and the technologies that are designing the new processes for creating food products. <\/span><\/p>\n
