The Association of Science and Technology Parks of Spain (APTE) and the Spanish Technological Platform of Disruptive Technologies (DISRUPTIVE) Spanish Technological Platform for Disruptive Technologies (DISRUPTIVE), whose technical secretariat is managed by APTE, are collaborating with the Spanish Association of Science and Technology Parks (APTE).<\/strong><\/a>whose technical secretariat is managed by APTE, <\/strong>are collaborating with the IV Edition of the Digital Tourist Congress 2021<\/a> <\/strong>organized by AMETIC<\/strong> that will take place on June 3 and 4, 2021 <\/strong>in Benidorm. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

This event is the meeting place for those responsible for smart tourism destinations (DTI): from central, regional, provincial and municipal administrations, and the digital tourism offer represented by leading technology companies. It is a social event that brings us back to networking, to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and experiences. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Under the title “Next Generation for Smart Destinations”,<\/strong> during two days, technological and digital solutions will be discussed to address the challenges of the sector, improve its competitiveness and develop a sustainable and resilient model in the long term, providing an environment for exchange and networking between smart destinations and the private sector.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

A key part of the topics to be discussed will be the funds earmarked for the tourism sector, such as the existing Red.es and Sustainable Tourism funds, to which will be added funds from the EU’s Next Generation recovery funds. These funds are aimed at the digitization and sustainability of Smart Tourism Destinations. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In addition, this year, among the topics to be discussed at the various round tables will be artificial intelligence in tourism, which is already underway in many “Smart Offices” in our country and have a very broad future development. Digitalization at the base of the creation of personalized tourism experiences, in smart destinations that provide universal accessibility to visitors with disabilities. Digital Tourist 21 will incorporate health tourism and also the binomial of Tourism-Commerce integrated. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
