Forty years ago, in the province of Bizkaia, the first Technology Park in Spain was established, taking its initial steps at the Zamudio/Derio Campus. Since then, its growth and evolution have been constant. Today, the Euskadi Technology Park in Bizkaia includes three additional campuses in Leioa, Abanto, and Bilbao, consolidating its position as a benchmark ecosystem for innovation and development.

This space is home to 292 companies operating in strategic sectors such as biosciences (pharma), energy, aeronautics, and ICT. Together, they generate more than 12,500 highly qualified jobs and make a decisive contribution to the competitiveness of the Basque business network and the development of new technologies with global impact.

In addition, the KLUBA initiative has been launched, a new leisure, cultural and sports space offering a wide range of activities.
