The initiative Science and Technology for Women, promoted by the Association of Science and Technology Parks of Spain (APTE), is holding this conference in the context of Mobile Week in Malaga, focused on promoting STEM vocations among young people together with Malaga TechPark. In it, Felipe Romera, president of APTE and general director of Málaga TechPark, will present the guide “What are disruptive technologies?”, a document prepared in collaboration with the Spanish Technological Platform for Disruptive Technologies (DISRUPTIVE), secretaried by APTE and supported by the Ministry of Science and Innovation through the State Research Agency, and which promotes the digital transformation of Spanish entities, covering the field of the most disruptive digital technologies. That is why this document aims to make visible the 5 technologies on which the platform focuses, as well as to provide some examples of possible career opportunities related to these areas. Subsequently, two female technologists who develop their professional activity in the environment of Málaga TechPark will tell their experience to encourage other girls to follow in their footsteps. In addition, attendees will be able to take a tour of the exhibition “Women who changed the world”, which highlights 31 great women in the history of science and technology, and will receive a printed copy of the guide.
