Network of parks that make up the APTE ecosystem throughout Spain.
The Technological Development Centre of the University of Cantabria (CDTUC) is located on the campus of the University of Cantabria and was built in 1999. It has a space of 6,500 m2 for the development of R&D initiatives, many of them arising from the university’s research environment.
It currently has a total of 19 companies, of which 3 are spin-offs from the University of Cantabria, 4 are R&D support entities, and 2 are research groups from different areas of knowledge at the UC.
The CDTUC offers companies and R&D groups the opportunity to rent offices and laboratory spaces of various sizes. All are furnished and equipped with basic amenities, allowing them to begin their activities as soon as they move in. CDTUC spaces feature:
Voice and data access points.
Central heating.
Standard furniture (laboratory type). If it does not meet the needs of users, it can be removed.
Cleaning.
Security.
Access control.
Meeting room.
Incubator with 40 m2 spaces.
Video conference room.

The CDTUC offers the following services to entrepreneurs and companies:
Support to business projects in all their phases, paying special attention and guidance to those of new creation, for which a technology incubator is available.
Information on calls and sources of funding.
Dissemination activities and possibility of participation in programs and activities of the different national and international networks of entrepreneurship and technology transfer, in which the Center participates.
Contracting of R&D services with research groups of the University of Cantabria.
