The Polytechnic City of Innovation (CPI) is the Science Park of the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV). The UPV is an entrepreneurial university whose objective is to promote the integral development of society and contribute to its technological, economic and cultural progress. The Science Park is conceived as a space where university, business and society connect to capitalize on knowledge, generating impact and contributing to socioeconomic development.
The CPI brings together more than 50 research units and 40 companies, located on the UPV campuses in Valencia, Gandía and Alcoy, over a total of 140,000 m2 of scientific infrastructure and more than 3,000 researchers in the following areas: Information and Communication Technologies, Biotechnology and Agri-Food, Nanotechnologies, Social Sciences, Energy, Transport and Environment, Art and Architecture, Manufacturing and Materials Technologies, and Mathematics.
