Espaitec, Scientific and Technological Park of the Universitat Jaume I of Castelló

The park hosts the offices of Espaitec, 7 associations, and 51 affiliated companies (31 located on-site and 15 virtually affiliated). The sector with the greatest presence is Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), accounting for 42.3% of the activity.

Espaitec serves as a key instrument of the Universitat Jaume I of Castelló (UJI), facilitating scientific and technological transfer and fostering innovative entrepreneurship. From Espaitec, we generate added value for the companies linked to the park by connecting them with the talent emerging from UJI, as well as with society and the business ecosystem of the province of Castelló.

Espaitec 1 building
Incubator building housing the park’s central facilities. It comprises 2,000 m² distributed across various spaces:

Developed areas
Espaitec has buildable land that covers 117,593.50 m2. The three existing buildings also have a developed area that covers 48,765 m2 distributed into several plots ready to install innovative companies and leading research centres.

Espaitec has developed a continuous support strategy for companies throughout the different stages of their life cycle, strengthening its role as a hub connecting the various players in the innovation ecosystem. To this end, it offers a range of value-added services focused on enhancing the competitiveness of the associated business network and facilitating the transfer of technology and knowledge between the University and the industrial sector.
