The UPF Research Park is oriented to promote, develop and manage major R&D initiatives in the social and human sciences, ICT and health and life sciences (through the Barcelona Biomedical Research Park).
Its mission is to promote social commitment by encouraging research, innovation, transfer of results and technological progress, thus becoming a socio-economic dynamizing agent between the university, public administrations and companies. It is made up of more than 50 research groups and centers, and is located in a central area of Barcelona, near the UPF campuses: Ciutadella, Poblenou and Mar.
