Sevilla TechPark is a public policy instrument aimed at promoting local economic development and technological modernization. It promotes private investment in R&D&I, by articulating itself as an innovative space, where cooperation is the basis for growth.

The PCT Cartuja is an emblematic site, the first example of the reuse of a Universal Exposition (Expo’92) in the form of an innovation ecosystem. The commitment to a production model based on R&D&I has resulted in a site that houses 567 companies and entities, generating direct employment for 29,538 workers and a joint economic activity of 4,850 million euros. This contribution represents a significant 2.36% of the Andalusian GDP and 9.95% of the GDP of the province of Seville.

Its success, its motto: innovate, cooperate, grow.

Scientific-business area. This is the heart of PCT Cartuja. It is made up of technology and advanced services companies, research centers, business schools and public entities supporting innovation, as well as business associations.

University area. The activity of PCT Cartuja is closely linked to the School of Engineering of the University of Seville. In addition to this center, the Park is home to the Faculty of Communication of the University of Seville, as well as private university schools (CEADE, San Isidoro, ESIC and EOI) and the International University of Andalusia (UNIA).

Cultural area. The Park has a wide cultural offer, headed by the Andalusian Center of Contemporary Art (CAAC), the Navigation Pavilion, CaixaForum, theaters and auditoriums.

Sports and leisure area. Next to the PCT Cartuja, there are the Cartuja Stadium, the Rowing and Canoeing High Performance Center, the Alamillo Park and Isla Magica.
