TECH RIOJA

TECH RIOJA, through the Technological Entrepreneurship Node of La Rioja (NET), the seed and first foundational project of the park, aims to foster innovation and regional economic growth. By carrying out a comprehensive renovation of the Albelda Exhibition Centre and its three existing buildings, the plan is to transform it into a dynamic ecosystem for the incubation and acceleration of technology-based companies, the hosting of consolidated projects, and the organisation of specialised events

It is conceived as a catalyst for the region’s digital and business transformation, and to fulfil its mission the NET will offer a wide range of services and spaces:

  • Spaces for companies and projects: Designed to support both start-ups and established businesses, including coworking areas that encourage interaction and the exchange of ideas, as well as private offices that provide a reserved environment for confidentiality needs and options for expansion.
  • Dissemination spaces: Dedicated to the organisation of events that promote knowledge exchange and the visibility of innovations. These will include a versatile Exhibition Centre for trade fairs, exhibitions and large events, and an auditorium equipped with the necessary infrastructure to host conferences, congresses and workshops.
  • Shared-use spaces: Collaborative areas for all members, such as meeting rooms equipped with collaborative tools, training/workshop rooms with modern technology for seminars and interactive courses, and FabLabs (technical rooms) for manufacturing, industrial prototyping or experimentation with digital technologies.
  • Social spaces: Designed to improve users’ quality of life and foster a pleasant environment, including a dining area, indoor and outdoor leisure and relaxation areas, and agoras for gatherings and community events, promoting social interaction and cohesion.
  • Management spaces: Intended to facilitate internal coordination and operational management, with executive offices, offices for management units, and a boardroom equipped for strategic meetings and videoconferences.
  • Support spaces: Essential for efficient and safe operation, such as a telecommunications room for servers and security systems, storage rooms for different storage needs, large parking areas, a reception/concierge area serving as a welcoming and information point, and a security centre with real-time monitoring systems for the safety of facilities and users.
