Award for best practice in science and technology parks of APTE

The award for best practice in Science and Technology Parks arises APTE in 2014 to recognize the new best practices carried out by the management of the parks in its scope.

In this sense both the innovative aspect of the initiative and its impact on entities Science and Technology Park and its environment is valued.

The award has two categories: one for PCTs with less than 10 years old and one for those with more than 10 years old.

Here are the winners of these prizes since the first edition:

2014

Modality 1: PCTs with an age of less than or equal to 10 years

- Winner: espaitec. Science, Technology and Business Park of the Universitat Jaume I of Castellon: The value of intangible assets through advanced services as a new management model for PCT 2020

- Secondary Award: Science and Technology Park of Extremadura: Office for the innovation of Extremadura

Modality 2: PCTs older than 10 years

- Winner: Science and Technology Park of Gijón: Gijón INVIERTE

 - Secondary Award: Science and Technology Park of Bizkaia: Innovanet Network.

- Secondary Award: Technology Park of Andalucía: Creation and promotion of Aeronautical Cluster and Smart City Cluster.

2015

Modality 1: PCTs with an age of less than or equal to 10 years

- Winner: Science Park of the Miguel Hernández University of Elche: La Nau de la Innovació

Modality 2: PCTs older than 10 years

- Winner: Science and Technology Park of Bizkaia: Attracting foreign investments to the Science and Technology Park of Bizkaia

- Secondary Award: Technology Park of Andalucía: The Green Ray.

- Secondary Award: Technology Park of Alava: Extended Service Space.

- Secondary Award: Technology Park of Vigo: ViaVigo.

2016

Modality 2: PCTs older than 10 years

- Winner: Science and Technology Park of Bizkaia: Smart incubation: a new model of advanced incubation in the Science and Technology Park of Bizkaia

2017

The Association of Science and Technology Parks of Spain awarded the prizes for best practices in Science and Technology Parks 2017 to the parks of Extremadura and Bizkaia in the category of parks smaller and larger than 10 years of existence.

In the runners-up category in each of the categories, the practices of the Creápolis Science and Technology Park, the University of Valencia Science Park, the Andalusia Technology Park and the Barcelona Science Park were recognised.
